He wants her - no matter what the cost!
Daniil Zverev is the world's most ruthless and sinfully seductive tycoon. No one would ever know the cruelty and rejection that fueled his ascent. But beautiful ballet teacher Libby Tennent is getting under Daniil's skin and dangerously close to the truth.
From the moment she waltzed into his office, feisty Libby has challenged the dark-hearted Russian. He doesn't do favors, yet he helps Libby's business. He definitely doesn't do relationships, yet one night with Libby isn't enough! Money might be no object, yet the cost of getting closer to Libby is much higher....

I really enjoyed this book. The spark of something wonderful was instant between Daniil Zverev, and Libby Tennent. Libby challenged Daniil every step of the way.Daniil never got close to people. He had been in an orphanage until he was 12. There was 4 boys that bonded together. It was Daniil, and his twin brother Roman, and Nikolai, and Sevastyan. Daniil was adopted, and he lost contact with the other boys. Not by his choice. His letters never got mailed, and he never received mail after he was adopted. His own adopted family didn't understand Daniil, and I don't think they tried. He felt like he was damaged goods.
The first time he met Libby, he knew there was something special about her. He told her he did NOT do commitments. Each time they parted, he intended it to be forever, yet, he couldn't stay away from Libby. I loved the way Libby fought for what she wanted, and taught Daniil what it meant to be in a relationship.
Sample from chapter 11 - "I want flowers, I want conversation, I want phone calls and texts, and presents..." He went to open his mouth but she got there first. "And before you accuse me of demanding expensive gifts, that's not what I mean. I'm tired of living on a knife edge. It's not all about whether you want to see me again, Daniil. It's about whether or not I want to see you, too, and if you can't be bothered to pick up your phone and ask about my day then I don't want you a part of it anymore."
I won't spoil the story for you, but it is a refreshing, wonderful book.

The Price of His Redemption w/Bonus Book Christmas at the Chatsfield (Audible Audio Edition) Carol Marinelli Maisey Yates Justine Eyre Carly Robins Harlequin Audio Books Reviews
Awesome!
very interesting book
I like how the characters were flawed. It gave a sense of reality. Libby was strong from the get go. Daniil wasn't too arrogant. It was a lovely read.
Wish there was more depth into hero's past but I guess that's coming in the next books. Great read.
I loved the direction the author went in choosing how to unveil Daniil's character. Cold, but with reasons...and Libby was no ingenue, but a young woman without undue baggage, with a good head on her shoulders, and no doormat or chameleon, to boot. Well done!
I loved this book. This is the 1st of a 4 part series and I was not disappointed. The hero was emotionally inept, he had suffered from the time he was put in the orphanage in Russia with only his twin as family. Four boys that bonded because they were orphaned. Daniil, his brother, Roman, the nerd, Sev and Nickolai. They were there for each other. Circumstances
I loved this story! I immediately downloaded the next book and read and loved it as well. I cannot wait to read the other two in the series. One thing I have noticed in Harlequin books the last few years, and is more startling obvious in these books, is that the publisher has gone considerably more lax in the language used. The sexual language is more raw than historically has been allowed and euphemisms are light on the ground. I've been reading Harlequin books since the early 90s and I'm not sure how happy I am about this change. I do read other more explicit material, so it's not that I'm a prude, it's just that I can't help feeling like when I pick up a Harlequin I no longer know for sure what I'm getting. I suppose they're changing with the times and the market...
